Whats is Q-PAH?

Wondering what we're all about? Here's where you start?

Queensland Pups & Handlers Inc was established in 2015 with the goal of creating a safe space and a series of events for people in Queensland to engage in pup and handler play.

The club has since grown to 100+ members and was officially incorporated in 2018. Today, our aims are to:

- Ensure all genders and sexualities feel welcome and comfortable at all of our events

- Provide a safe space for anyone in Queensland to engage in pup and handler play

- Create and host events where people in Queensland can engage in pup and handler play

- Provide education and resources for pups and handlers in Queensland

Club Insignia and Symbology

The Q-PAH Logo

The Q-PAH Logo was adopted upon establishment of the club in 2015.

It was designed by Lief (Queensland Pup 2018, Australian Pup 2018). It features the abbreviation Q-PAH in the state's signature maroon colour with a paw print inlaid in the letter Q.

The name is set over an outline of the state of Queensland, which is decorated in the signature navy, black and white stripes of the Leather Pride and Puppy Pride flags, as well as the red bone from the Puppy Pride flag.

A text wreath around the outside of the logo features the name of the club in full and the establishment date of 2015.

The QPHC Logo

The QPHC Logo was adopted for the first Queensland Pup & Handler Competition in 2018.

It was designed by Lief (Queensland Pup 2018, Australian Pup 2018). It features the abbreviation QPHC in the state's signature maroon colour set over a bone, leash and an outline of the state of Queensland, also in maroon.

A text wreath around the outside of the logo features the name of the competition.

The Q-PAH Flag

The Q-PAH Flag was adopted upon establishment of the club in 2015.

It was designed by Lief (Queensland Pup 2018, Australian Pup 2018). It features the Q-PAH logo in a white circle at its centre, set over the horizontal navy, black and white stripes of the Leather Pride Flag.

The flag symbolises the growth of the Pup and Handler community in Queensland out of the leather culture that came before it, as the first Pup and Handler competition in Queensland was run by our brother club BootCo, the longest-running leather club in the southern hemisphere.
